2nd of ESO Physical Fitness Work.Students must answer 10 questions; students are allowed to choose either to answer the questions individually, in pairs or groups up to three people.

Students must answer 10 questions;   students are allowed to choose either to answer the questions individually,   in pairs or groups up to three people. Each question is worth 2 points and a minimum of 10 points is required to pass the theory part of the subject. The student`s work should be handwritten and submitted to the teacher by november the 23rd. Please, do not foget to write names and class group.



1. Define warm up in your own words
2. Explain the benefits of the warm up
3. List the effects of the warm up on your body
4. List the parts of the warm up
5. Give examples of exercises which best fit each part of the warm up
6. Explain the difference between the general and specific parts of the warm up. Use examples of exercises to contrast them.
7. Define Flexibility: explain one exercise which can be used to develop this skill and give one example of a test that you have already performed in the gym to measure your flexibility.
8. Define Muscular Endurance; explain one exercise which can be used to develop this skill and give one example of a test that you have already performed in the gym to measure your muscular endurance.
9. Define Agility; explain one exercise which can be used to develop this skill and give one example of a test that you have already performed during PE class to measure your agility.
10. Define Physical Fitness
